Biography

Susan Bondor

I got my first camera when I was 7 years old. As a teenager I took pictures of anything around me.

I was talented at art and took drawing lessons for 8 years. Drawing and painting was my first passion. When I meet my husband to be at an artist's club in Hungary, I was delighted to know that he also loved taking photographs. He knew a lot about cameras, and the technical part of taking pictures. I have learned a lot from him. We together explored a great deal of subjects by going on weekly photographic expeditions. We participated in photographic exhibitions in numerous occasions.

In 1988 we immigrated to Canada and kept on taking pictures for our own pleasure. In 1998 I gave birth to a daughter. We documented her life while growing up.

Presently, I am working toward my photography certificate at Langara College in Vancouver. I enjoy taking classes, because they are challanging and make me a better artist.

You can benefit from my lifelong experience and knowledge. My passion has never wavered from the artform of photography. I love to capture the moment in time to preserve the memory for all to see.
